"I’m always amazed by penguins’ stamina and resilience. At Orne Harbour, chinstrap penguins nest high up on a saddle ridge that leads to Spigot Peak.
The site overlooking the Gerlache Strait is exposed to harsh winds, but the penguins don’t seem to mind at all. Up and down they go, every day heading out to sea and coming back to feed their chicks.
It’s kind of disarming when you try to reach the colony at the ridge’s saddle and while you stop to catch your breath, here they are, one after the other, passing in front of you."
