Meet the pink eared mantis shrimp inhabits coral reefs

"Meet the Pink-Eared Mantis Shrimp. It inhabits the same shallow coral reefs as its bigger cousin, the Peacock Mantis Shrimp. And as 'Don Peacock' it is a member of the smashing mantis shrimp family. That means that they use their so-called 'hammers' to strike their prey with a top speed of up to 82 km/h. Scuba divers who observe those adorable crustaceans are usually pleased by their fancy eyes. So almost every encounter with a mantis shrimp ends up in a very memorable moment 😊"
