A brand new baby volcano 🌋
The newest ‘baby volcano’ has formed at the north-east base of Litli-Hrútur mountain, in Iceland’s Fagradalsfjall volcanic area. On 10th July of this year, three cracks appeared at the bottom of the mountain’s base, spewing mountain lava high into the air along with gas plumes.
