Western snowy plover chicks are tiny fast and threatened
Western snowy plovers chicks are just the absolute cutest fluff balls. They blend in with their environment (sandy beaches), they are pretty fast runners and extremely small (at birth they are about the size of a person’s thumb)! 🥺 unfortunately they are also on the threatened species list and need our protection!
