Some birds commit nest parasitism by stealing nests and eggs

Some species of birds have been documented stealing nesting areas from other birds or animals that they find fit for raising a family. Not only this, but some will actually remove other species eggs from the nest in order to lay their own, in a process known as nest parasitism. This can be effective as it often leads to the bird securing a safe area to protect their eggs, however if the previous host does not vacate the nest, the birds can be in serious danger. 🐦 🥚
