Many species are adapting to and thriving in urban environments, demonstrating their insane abilities to learn and change their behaviours to survive in a different landscape.
The process of urbanization has forced many species, especially birds and rodents, to adapt to rapidly changing ecosystems. There are many examples of how they have done so successfully, with one of the major examples being animals' abilities to exploit urban resources such as food from trash or gardens. Some of these species have also recognized the harm that humans can cause and, as a result, will work to avoid them while living in the same environment. 🐦⬛️
