Як змія використовує язик щоб нюхати навколишнє середовище

When a snake flicks out its tongue, it gathers tiny scent particles from the air, ground, or objects nearby. Then, it pulls its tongue back inside its mouth and presses it against the Jacobson’s organ on the roof of the mouth. This organ gives snakes an excellent sense of smell as it allows tiny chemical particles to be interpreted by the snake’s brain.
