Polar bears wait for sea ice to hunt seals for food on thick ice

With the arrival of this eagerly awaited sea ice, polar bears gain access to their hunting grounds on thick ice. Only on thick ice can they reach seals, which make up a large part of their diet.

If you see a polar bear sitting on the shore looking out at the sea horizon, it is patiently waiting for the sea ice to come. 🐻❄️
