The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest inactive volcanic caldera, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” Its walls rise over 600 meters, creating a natural enclosure that holds one of the densest populations of large predators in Africa. With over 25,000 animals inside the crater, it’s one of the best places to witness dramatic wildlife encounters like this.
