Леви змушені пристосовуватись до води в дельті окаванго national

Water is not a lion’s element. Lions are built for the steady grip of solid ground. But in Botswana’s Okavango Delta, the land dissolves into water, and the lions must bend to its demands. Lush, healthy ecosystems like the delta sustain an abundance of prey, but all that plenty comes with a price. To secure a meal, the lions must wade and swim, their frames and muscles honed by the constant crossings. Still, the unease never leaves them. Every plunge into the channels carries risk: crocodiles lurking in the shallows, hippos patrolling the depths. Here, abundance and danger are inseparable.
