Resembling a dragon, a Pokémon, or even a pinecone, pangolins are easily among the most unique creatures on Earth.

These armor-clad insectivores are often called “forest guardians.” This is because just one pangolin can eat enough ants and termites to help protect more than 40 acres of land from destruction. Plus, as they dig for shelter or food, they aerate and enrich the soil, supporting healthy plant life. 🌱
