A crow bullying a rat.

These interactions are usually driven by survival instincts, territorial defense, or the crow's famous intelligence.

Since rats are known to scavenge and might eat crow eggs or fledglings, a crow will use "mobbing" tactics, diving and pecking, to drive the predator away from its nesting site.
