Ukraine attacks deeper into Russian-occupied territory.

The Ukrainian military said it had carried out a series of strikes this week aimed at destroying and degrading Russian supply routes and command centers across southern Ukraine, extending a campaign that helped drive Russian forces from western Kherson to new targets deeper in occupied territory.

Having lost more than half of the territory they controlled since launching a full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Russian forces are scrambling to establish new defensive positions across a radically altered front line. Read more
