🚀 China's Second Successful Landing on the Far Side of the Moon!
The Chang’e-6 lander and ascent modules have achieved a smooth landing in the southern region of the Apollo crater, located in the South Pole-Aitken basin on the far side of the Moon. These modules will now collect lunar regolith (soil), which will first be sent to lunar orbit to meet the transfer module with a return capsule, and then back to Earth.
China now boasts four active lunar surface missions: the Chang’e-3, Chang’e-4, and Chang’e-6 landers, along with the Yutu-2 rover. This remarkable achievement underscores China's growing prowess in space exploration.
Stay tuned for more updates on this groundbreaking mission and the exciting future of lunar exploration! 🌕
