Budget Omega watch lures mobs of shoppers, buoys Swatch stock
You might have heard of the MoonSwatch collection, a collaboration between Swatch and luxury timepiece brand Omega, and how hordes of Singapore shoppers mobbed the two stores it was stocked at over the weekend when it launched.
But the winner from this madness, of course, is none other than Swatch, whose stock prices were up as much as 5.3 per cent in early trade on Monday — for a timepiece that isn’t even limited edition 🤔
