Employers must consider flexi-work requests by 2024
These requests must be considered "fairly and properly", under new guidelines for these arrangements, but employers can consider their business needs when assessing whether or not to grant approval.
In the interim, the government aims to increase the adoption of a voluntary tripartite standard on flexible work arrangements by employers, covering 27 per cent of all employees currently, to 40 per cent by the end of this year.
