According to SimilarWeb, the site had over 162 million visitors in October. On average, users spend about 34 minutes a day, which is more than on Instagram, Facebook, and ChatGPT. Character is attracting a much younger demographic than ChatGPT and other AI apps. On the web, for example, Character draws in nearly 60% of its audience from the 18- to 24-year-old age bracket.

🔍 Corporate interest in AI characters
In November, Reuters reported Google was negotiating to invest hundreds of millions of dollars in Character. Meanwhile, Meta introduced a comparable project, AI Characters by Meta, enabling interactions with AI of celebrities on Instagram.
