🐇 INSPIRATION. Alice in the Wonderland of AI
Infinite Wonderland is an experimental creative collaboration between Google Labs and four artists that used AI to reinterpret the visuals for "Alice in Wonderland".
The project allows users to generate an infinite number of visuals for each sentence of the book, creating a unique reading experience.
Each of the invited artists— Haruko Hayakawa, Eric Hu, Erik Carter, and Shawna X—created a set of original images. The StyleDrop tool enabled them to train the Imagen 2 AI model, developed by Google DeepMind, in their unique styles.
How does this work?
On the project’s main page, select the artist you are interested in. A book will open where an illustration in the chosen style will be generated for each sentence.
👁 The result can be compared to John Tenniel's original illustrations for the 1865 edition, which influenced many successors.
