🔖 Adding to Favorites: How to Edit Songs on Suno
🎸 We tested the highly requested “Replace Section” update that many Suno AI music generator users have been waiting for.
“Replace Section” lets you modify specific parts of a composition — you can add or remove song fragments and even change the lyrics.
How does it work?
1️⃣ Log in to the Suno website and click on the vertical menu “…” 💬
2️⃣ Go to “Edit” > “Replace Section.”
3️⃣ Select the part of the song you want to change (10 to 30 seconds).
4️⃣ Update the lyrics or input an instrument name in square brackets for a musical break, like [drum break]. Click “Replace Section.”
5️⃣ Two options will be generated. Choose the one you prefer by clicking “Select.”
🔠 After selecting, you’ll be redirected to a page where the full version of the song will automatically start generating.
We created a rock version of “Dancing Queen” and then changed the name to “Cute Penguin.” Here’s how it turned out ⤴️
