👩‍💻 Midjourney Releases Image Editor and Re-Texturing Tools

Midjourney is testing two new features: an image editor for uploaded images and image re-texturing to explore materials, surfaces, and lighting. Previously, users could only work with images created within Midjourney. Now, any images can be used.

Users can upload their own images, select specific fragments, and prompt the AI editor to redraw them according to their instructions.

➡️ Image Re-Texturing

This feature preserves the original composition but alters surroundings, textures, and colors to create new visual effects.

These features are initially available to yearly subscribers, members who have been subscribed for the past 12 months, and those with at least 10,000 images.
