😎 AI-Powered Glasses That "Read" Emotions and Count Calories

After 10 years of research, British company Emteq Labs has introduced Sensethe world’s first emotion-sensing AI-powered eyewear.

These "smart glasses" can capture facial muscle activity, emotions and mood, attention and stress levels, eating habits, posture, physical activity, heart rate, and other important health and lifestyle indicators.

The glasses have contactless sensors that detect facial movements at key muscle locations. The glasses also have a downward-facing camera that tracks food intake, with sensors measuring chewing rates and using AI-powered image analysis to identify the food’s nutritional value. The algorithms then collect and analyze all this data and transfer it to the Sense app.

Application

➡️ Diagnosing and monitoring autism, depression, and other mental health disorders, which, according to the WHO, affect about one billion people worldwide.

➡️ Developing therapies for patients with Parkinson's disease and other neurological issues.

➡️ A more precise dietary monitoring for people with obesity and eating disorders.

➡️ Offering new ways to measure user experience in real-time in various industries, from gaming to marketing.

Our faces reveal deep insights about our minds and bodies. Sense eyewear allows us to look inward, rather than outward. Wearers will see how subtle, nearly invisible factors can shape long-term health and wellness like never before.
