ChatGPT is now available via a bot on WhatsApp. To chat with him, add his number to your contacts: +1-800-242-8478 and send ChatGPT a message. It's free and doesn't require registration.
➡️ GPT-4o-mini is running on WhatsApp; the bot has a knowledge cutoff of September 2021.
➡️ The bot doesn't support images yet but can produce long text replies.
Chatting with ChatGPT in WhatsApp will be possible only in countries where the OpenAI service works officially. For the rest—still Telegram 🔴
In the U.S., you can call the bot by phone—even from a push-button cell phone or rotary one. There are 15 minutes of free calls available per month.
"The mission of OpenAI is to make artificial general intelligence beneficial to all of humanity. And part of that is making it as accessible as possible to as many people as we can," says the company's Chief Product Officer, Kevin Weil.
