🎵 RECURSE, the First Track Created by Quantum AI
British artist ILĀ, in collaboration with UK startup Moth, has released the first commercial track RECURSE, created using both AI and a quantum computer.
Archaeo, a quantum machine learning platform, helped create the track. Unlike popular AI music generators like Suno or Udio, which are trained on vast music libraries from countless artists, quantum algorithms were trained exclusively on ILĀ's work.
Despite the limited amount of training data, quantum algorithms' unique properties allowed them to capture complex patterns in ILĀ's music that traditional AI might have missed. This also avoids common ethical and copyright issues associated with AI-generated content.
According to the artist, this approach results in more human and authentic music.
"It feels very refreshing to use a technology that has been built to work with you, not simply replace you," said ILĀ.
