😳 Girlfriend of the "Godfather of AI" Dumped Him With the Help of ChatGPT

77-year-old Nobel Prize laureate Geoffrey Hinton, often referred to as the "Godfather of AI," stated that the woman he had been living with for several years dumped him with the help of ChatGPT.

"She got ChatGPT to tell me what a rat I was. She got the chatbot to explain how awful my behaviour was and gave it to me. (...) I didn't think I had been a rat, so it didn't make me feel too bad," he confessed in a recent interview.

But this negative personal experience did not stop Hinton from using AI. He said that he has already started a new relationship since then and uses AI daily for advice in everyday life, such as asking it how to fix household appliances.

At the same time, he is convinced that AI poses a real existential threat. In his opinion, technology will, at the very least, lead to mass unemployment and poverty, and in the worst-case scenario, destroy humanity.
