Seals chilling in an ice lagoon in Iceland.

The only seals that breed in Icelandic waters are harbour seals (phoca vitulina) and grey seals (halichoerus grypus). Many other species, including harp, bearded, and ring seals, frequently visit. A mature grey seal can weigh up to 300 kg and grow to be 2.5 metres long.
