Iceland transforms into winter wonderland with aurora borealis

From September to April, Iceland is transformed into a captivating winter wonderland as the skies come alive with the mesmerizing aurora borealis, also known as the Northern Lights. These ethereal lights are named after the Roman goddess of dawn, Aurora, and the Greek word for the north wind, Boreas, creating a celestial celebration unlike any other.
