Singapore to unveil sustainable air hub blueprint in early 2023: Iswaran
Speaking at the ongoing Singapore Airshow, the minister noted that global aviation contributed about 2 per cent of global emissions before Covid-19 brought air travel to a standstill, and will rise again once air travel resumes its pre-pandemic trajectory.
"Decarbonising aviation is a very important initiative and it has global significance, and Singapore as a major air hub will certainly do our part," he said.
