Dolphins embrace family taking care of each other when sick or unwell
No animal seems to embrace the idea of family like the dolphin. A group of dolphins, or pod, can consist of up to 1,000 dolphins who take care of each other when sick or unwell. On top of that, a dolphin calf will stay with mom for several years before going out on its own.
